      The PTFE-based composite bearing is based on PTFE and reinforced by the carbon fiber, glass fiber and PEEK. It is formed by compression molding under certain pressure and sintered at a certain temperature. The bearings have low friction coefficient and excellent chemical stability, and are well resistant to high-temperature and corrosion.

      The brazing process is used by the bearing assembly, which can greatly improve the shear strength of bearings.

      1. Optimization and analysis of water film capacity

      According to the specific structure of the bearing, the CFD software Fluent can be applied to the simulation calculation of bearing water films’ loading characteristics to analyze the influence of bearings draw ratio, clearance, eccentricity, rotation speed, and water tanks structure, distribution and quantity to the pressure and temperature distribution, loading capacity and friction loss of water film, and to optimize the structure parameters of the bearing.

      2. Optimization and analysis of the stress-strain

      The finite element software is used to the simulated analysis and calculation of the bearing stress, improving the stress distribution through the structure optimization to improve the bearing friction and wear performance.

      3. Test and analysis of stiffness

      The test platform and finite element software are applied to the bearing stress and strain test and simulated analysis to get the stiffness characteristics of bearing and water film, laying a foundation for the optimization of shafting vibration characteristics.
